During the third quarter of 2022, the top 5 business apps in Ghana showed diverse performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at the data from Sensor Tower.

Zoom Workplace from Zoom Video Communications, Inc. saw a notable rise in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $74 in the final week of September. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 15.4K and 19.3K. Active users grew steadily, reaching around 316K by the end of the quarter.

Google Chat from Google did not generate any revenue during this period. However, weekly downloads showed a downward trend, starting from 13.4K at the end of June and declining to around 12.7K by the end of September. Active users, on the other hand, increased consistently, peaking at approximately 85.3K in the last week of September.

WhatsApp Business from WhatsApp Inc. had no revenue recorded but exhibited strong weekly download numbers. Downloads peaked at about 347.7K in mid-September. Active users showed a stable increase, reaching approximately 2.3M by the end of the quarter.

Microsoft Teams from Microsoft Corporation also did not report any revenue. Weekly downloads varied, with a peak of around 10.8K in mid-August. Active users saw growth, reaching roughly 84K by the end of September.

Google Meet (original) from Google showed no revenue during this period. Weekly downloads were relatively stable, fluctuating between 4.6K and 6.3K. Active users increased slightly, ending the quarter at around 41.3K.
